The Siemens 6GK7443-5DX04-0XE0 is a CP 443-5 Extended communication processor designed for SIMATIC S7-400 PLC systems. It provides a PROFIBUS DP interface, allowing the S7-400 controller to communicate with distributed I/O stations, field devices, and other automation equipment.The module supports PROFIBUS transmission rates from 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s and can operate as a DP master with support for DPV1 services. It can manage up to 125 PROFIBUS DP slaves, with a total input and output address area of up to 4,096 bytes each.In addition to PROFIBUS DP communication, the CP 443-5 Extended supports S5-compatible PG/OP communication, S7 communication, and open communication using SEND/RECEIVE blocks. It is intended for integration into existing S7-400 automation systems.
