Description

Bently Nevada 3500/50M

3500 Machinery Protection System | Dual-Channel Tachometer Module | 2 Transducer Inputs | Speed Monitoring | Rotor Acceleration | Reverse Rotation Detection

Product Detailed Description

The Bently Nevada 3500/50M is a two-channel tachometer module designed for the 3500 Machinery Protection System. It accepts input signals from proximity probe transducers or magnetic pickups to monitor shaft rotational speed, rotor acceleration and rotational direction. The module conditions incoming signals and compares measured values against user-configurable alarm setpoints. Depending on its configuration, it supports speed monitoring, speed-band alarming, zero-speed notification, rotor acceleration alarming and reverse-rotation notification. The 3500/50M can also provide conditioned Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane for use by other monitoring modules, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module in compatible configurations. It includes a peak-hold function for recording maximum speed, maximum reverse speed or reverse-rotation counts.
