The ABB FPBA-01 is a PROFIBUS DP adapter module that enables compatible ABB drives to communicate with PROFIBUS-based industrial automation and PLC control systems. It supports both DP-V0 and DP-V1 communication, automatically detects the telegram type, and supports PPO messages 1–8 as well as standard telegrams 1 aThe adapter supports PROFIdrive, ABB drives, Transparent 16-bit, and Transparent 32-bit communication profiles. It is designed for integration with compatible ABB drive families, including ACS355, ACS380, ACS480, ACS580, ACH580, ACQ580, ACS880, and other supported models.
