Product Detailed Description
The Beckhoff EP2028-0032 is an eight-channel digital output module in the EtherCAT Box series, designed to transfer digital control signals from an EtherCAT automation controller to field-level actuators. It switches 24 V DC signals and supports resistive, inductive, and lamp loads, with a maximum output current of 2.8 A per channel and a combined output-current limit of 16 A at 40°C. The outputs are individually short-circuit protected. The module features eight 5-pin M12 output sockets, two shielded M8 EtherCAT connections, and 7/8-inch connectors for supply voltage feed-in and downstream distribution. LED indicators display channel status. Its rugged housing is designed for decentralized installation in industrial environments, with IP65/IP66/IP67 protection when correctly installed.
