Product Detailed Description
The Eaton MTL5561 is a two-channel, loop-powered fire and smoke detector interface designed to connect conventional fire or smoke detectors installed in hazardous areas to monitoring equipment in a safe area. It transfers detector status through changes in the safe-area current, allowing compatible fire and smoke detection circuits to be monitored by a control or alarm system.
The unit supports detector input voltages of 6–30 V DC and a nominal current range of 1–40 mA. It includes reverse-polarity protection and galvanic isolation between safe-area circuits and the power supply. The compact module is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting and is listed for use in appropriately certified hazardous-area installations.
