Product Detailed Description
The Eaton MTL HCU16 is a 16-channel HART connection unit designed to provide an interface between field instrument wiring and a host control system. It also provides access to HART communication signals for maintenance and configuration systems, helping technicians communicate with compatible smart field instruments without disrupting the main process-control signal path.
Each channel provides screw-clamp connections for the field signal, including positive, negative, and transmitter-supply terminals. A 20-way ribbon-cable connector links the unit to a compatible HART interface module. The unit is supplied on a carrier suitable for T-section or G-section DIN-rail mounting in control cabinets.
