- The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD0-CS-Ex1.51Pis a 1-channel isolated barrier / current driver and repeater for intrinsically safe applications. It transfers 0–40mA DC signals between hazardous and non-hazardous areas and can also provide power for I/P converters, positioners and transmitters.
- The unit is loop powered, requiring no additional control-side power supply. It provides 1% accuracy, reverse-polarity protection and galvanic isolation between the field and control circuits.
- It supports hazardous-area applications with ATEX and IECEx approvalsand is rated up to SIL 2 / SC 3 according to IEC/EN 61508.
